His skills in repairing two different tears and removing a bone spur had me cleared to go back to work in as little as 10 weeks after surgery. Dr Craig Roodbeen did my left rotator abt 6 yrs ago. It is 150%, better than it ever was! Right shoulder has been acting up so went for an evaluation & to get an MRI script to see what the status is. Great, attentive care by his PA, Bob Belke. Great place for all your Ortho surgical needs! Other Ortho surgeons have 4 star ratings and only a very few of those. Dr. Roodbeen has 4 .9 stars and over 500 reviews! That's saying it all right there!

I had worked as an OR Circulating RN over 20 years ago, and had been present for several of Dr. Roodbeen’s surgical cases. He was always professional and cordial in all of his interactions. I have since had to have recent surgery to have him fix a severe case of Adhesive Capsulitis that was resistant to many months of Physical Therapy. My Therapists, and one of my Providers, had informed me not to expect my shoulder to return to its complete, normal function; as it had been extremely stiff and contracted. After the surgery, my range of motion was significantly improved, and Dr. Roodbeen was positive in my full recovery. Aggressive Physical Therapy sessions were then able to stretch, strengthen, and return the remainder of my active range of motion. I started going to Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons office and seeing dr.'s for multiple injuries. I will tell you this, They Care and very involved. ALL of them. Dr. Roodbeen is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon! Back in 2012 he repaired my ruptured ACL. Recovery was quick with minimal pain post-operation. Then about a month or so ago I tore my meniscus, and immediately reached out to Dr. Roodbeen. He saw me promptly, immediately diagnosed the problem and verified it w/ MRI. After that had me in for outpatient surgery about a week later. Again, post-op I've had virtually no pain, and was back on my feet very quickly.
