Job Opportunity: Scribe

Job Details:

A Scribe is essentially a personal assistant to the physician; performing documentation in the patient record, gathering information for the patient’s visit, while partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present.
2. List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.
3. Document any procedures performed by the physician.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification/Licensure: Not required.
  • Experience: One of the following:

    6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe;
    6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
