The Medical Assistant provides support to the physician, physician extender and the patient for patient care services. Collaborates with physicians, physician extender and all other clinical staff to optimize a positive patient experience, improve efficiency and workflow. The Medical Assistant is an advocate on behalf of the practice and the patient with outside healthcare facilities and ancillary agencies involving the patient’s care, required services, durable medical equipment, and the patient insurance carrier. Must be certified or registered medical assistant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively within and outside of the organization, able to prioritize, be well organized and multi-task.
- 1- 2 years experience required.
